John & Denise Bohman
Property Manager & Maintenance
John and Denise Bohman are the property management team for Two Valleys Community Land Trust. Denise handles general and tenant management and John the Maintenance for both The Forest Knoll Mobile Home Park and Sage Lane Senior Housing.
The Bohman’s met in high school at Drake (now Archie Williams) and started dating years later, John grew up in Woodacre, Denise in Fairfax. They married in 1989. They lived at the Sherwood Oaks apartments and were the assistant managers there. Denise was also doing bookkeeping for a construction company, while John worked at Mill Valley Refuse.
John and Denise moved to the Trailer Court (now Forest Knolls Mobile Home Park) in 1990 with their infant daughter, Larissa, purchasing a new mobile home with the help of John's parents and settled into life in the Valley. Their son Steven was born in 1995.
Also in 1995 the owners, Don and Myra Yerion, offered the Bohman’s the job of onsite management of the trailer court. After the Yerions passed away, they continued in their roles, working with the Yerion children.
They realized early on that with the land rent and small mortgage they could afford for Denise to stay home with their children and participate in the community, serving on the school board and teaching CCD and at St. Cecilias, working on fundraisers for both. It also allowed them to stay near their families. They are fortunate to live near 4 generations on both sides.
When the Mobile Home Park was sold to the County and taken over by the SGVAHA (now TVCLT), John and Denise were included in the package. The jobs have evolved over the years to include Sage Lane. They have participated in all the upgrades of utilities and general improvements of the Mobile Home Park and the Solar installation and electrical upgrades at Sage Lane and look forward to new duties at 6956 Sir Francis Drake Blvd.
The Bohmans take pride in the changes in the Mobile home park over the years. It is a peaceful, diverse and friendly place to live and many of their homeowners have been their friends, neighbors and some family for more than 20 years.
Our properties are a diverse and multi-talented small neighborhood, a great place to live and age in place.
