Our Goals for 2025

  • Either approve the sale of the 6956 SFD property in order to reimburse the generous (and patient) bridge lenders who made it possible for us to acquire it, or move the project forward to completion.

  • As a member with CLAM, the Bolinas Community Land Trust and the Stinson Beach Affordable Housing Committee in the West Marin Housing Collaborative, take full advantage of the Technical Assistance Grants awarded us by the Marin Community Foundation and the West Marin Fund to build our capacity to develop new affordable housing projects.

  • Along with our West Marin partners, launch a new-era Real Community Rentals Program which will include programmatic support to homeowners and access to a spectrum of services for financial support and incentives to upgrade or repair septic systems, make repairs for habitability, provide support for unpermitted second unit amnesty and/or facilitate permit fee waivers for affordable housing creation.

  • Identify new funding sources for new TVCLT projects as well as loans and grants to support homeowners to build affordable ADU's or help low-income homeowners with repairs.

  • And finally, as a result of its tireless commitment to and advocacy for, TVCLT will see the County accept and incorporate the septic regs recommended by the SB2 - Septic Study in Unincorporated West Marin County as an amendment to the Housing Element.
